CSB-Institute for Seri-Biotechnological Research (CSB-ISBR), Bengaluru invites eligible candidates for a Walk-in-Interview on a purely contractual basis.

Position Particulars

01 Post (Walk-in)
Essential Qualification Master's Degree in relevant subject (Commerce, Business Administration, Laboratory Management, Hospital Management, Life Sciences, related fields).
Desirable Qualification Persons with certificate courses in related field.
Experience Required Post Graduate with experience in the relevant fields.
Remuneration Rs. 50,000/- per month
Tenure / Period Initially for a period of 2 years, extendable up to further 3 years (1+1+1) based on performance evaluation.
Age Limit Maximum 35 years as on 01st July 2026.

Work Profile & Key Responsibilities

  • Handling GeM portal-related activities.
  • Processing general indents and maintaining meticulous chemical and reagent stock inventories.
  • Overseeing general laboratory and infrastructure management.
  • Support routine activities of the institute – training, outreach activities, etc.
  • Coordinating Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and facilitating timely equipment repairs.
  • Providing foundational experimental support to maintain uninterrupted research activities.
  • Other duties assigned by the In-Charge (I/C).

Terms & Conditions

  1. The engagement is purely temporary and contractual to ensure continuity of critical activities, and does not constitute regular employment under the Government of India.
  2. Engaged Young Professionals shall have a legal status on a contract basis and will not be regarded as 'staff members' or 'officials' of the Central Silk Board.
  3. Candidates must bring all original documents for verification at the time of the interview. No photocopies in any form will be accepted.
  4. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the walk-in interview.
  5. Working hours are standardly 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM on working days; however, candidates may be required to sit late or work on holidays during exigencies without additional remuneration.
  6. Paid leave is granted at 1.5 days per completed month. Accumulation beyond the calendar year is not allowed.
  7. Engagement can be terminated by the Central Silk Board at any time by giving 30 days' notice or pay in lieu thereof.
  8. Submitting false information or documents will lead to immediate termination at any stage.
  9. Selected candidates must submit a Police Verification Report and a Medical-cum-Fitness certificate prior to engagement.
  10. Signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with a mandatory two-year cooling-off period post-contract completion is mandatory if intending to join foreign Missions, firms, or think tanks.
  11. This tenure confers no claim or right to regular employment with the Central Silk Board or any other Government Department.
